Black & White Wedding

Halloween is just around the corner and this year it falls on a Sunday.  Perfect day for a wedding!  But just because it's Halloween, it doesn't mean you have to have a Halloween themed wedding.   Black and white is extremely popular right now and when done right, it will resemble nothing like pumpkins, ghosts, and spider webs. ;)

These flowers called anemone (not to be confused with sea anemones) are perfect to tie in the black and white theme.  Anemones look so beautiful on it's own that you really don't need anything else to fluff up your bouquets or centerpieces.

Ever wish you can wear black for your wedding?  I mean, every girl loves her LBD (little black dress), because you have to admit, black does make you look slimmer.  Well now you can... sorta...  Black seems to be the "it" color for wedding dresses for Fall 2011.   From Vera Wang to Rivini, many designers are incorporating black into traditional wedding dresses:

Flowers, dresses, and who can forget cake.  Black and white is so simple and elegant that you might want to have a very chic design on your cake or a very detailed cupcake.

Black and white is so easy to work with.  If you want just a little accent of color, almost any color will work!  So have a fun and save Halloween! ~
